The mushroom cups are handmade masterpieces. these are homemade and coated with a spicy dough. they are excellent. after the taste of this, all the other mushrooms (especially the frozen, poured from a bag type) are pale in comparison. I think they are the best available. the hammerburger is a full half-pound of juicy bark with shredded cheddar cheese, salad, tomato and barbeque sauce. it is excellent. my waitress was friendly, timely, attentive and had a sense of humor. for a combination if great eating and service, hammers bill fits. I am back and I recommend trying.
It's home- town friendly, the food is great and WAY more affordable than places in Peoria. We had this delicious huge breakfast for a few pennies over $13, including tax.
Great atmosphere! And the blackened BBQ Wings are the best!! Also recommend the flour chips with the chicken Nachos. YUM.
The fried pickles and quesadila were good. My husband had the wings and they were huge. Could have had a little more sauce on them but otherwise they were cooked and tasted like chicken. Good portions. The ranch is okay, I've had worse definitely and have also had better. Overall we liked it. Not our favorite bar food place but we're new to the area and are still experimenting the local cuisine.
Great country breakfast spot. Service is friendly. Food is good. Lots of options.
