General The Hotel Cap Polonio with its restaurant Rolin can undoubtedly be called the first house in the square; a special kindness and of course a little less expensive. Especially for suitable occasions, this house offers a not everyday location and scores next to the kitchen with a unique maritime interior, as the salons of a steamer found reused here. I quote on the homepage: Then move crazy! One was sure, then, in 1935 in Pinneberg, at the birth of the hotel and restaurant Cap Polonio. It could only be misdirected spiritually, which in 65 feet of Pinneberger Hafen created and built parts of the furniture of the luxury liner, which was once built for the South American steam ship Hamburg into the building of the then hotel city of Hamburg. But the supposed madness had method, and from the crazy idea an institution is known and popular far beyond Pinneberg. A reliable young feminine diffraction took up the 4 course menus, which after a very fast start were perfectly continued with relaxing breaks. Carpaccio: With genuine black truffle crowned great decorated in very high quality, tasteful to the point. Crabs: Sustainablely very spicy and a touch of sharply marinated, harmonious and tasty; good part in abundantly convincing Vinaigrette. Consommé vom Reh: Really well preserved; spicy harmonious in every way with beautiful, noble use. Gänsekeule: lightly crispy juicy with up to the slightly floury marons excellent supplements in very good quality pleasant and harmoniously preserved, fine and noble accompanied without giving up the hearty holsteinic spices and sweetness. The rather cautiously neutral fluffy lumps, which are densely enveloped by buttriger, melt brown butter with aromatically harmonic semmelbbles (only finer as before with nuts... Steak: fancy quality a great piece of Fleich superfresh and highly proportionally delicate like cotton; the still slightly soft, harmonious crust would have led a bit more overheat to perfection, which would certainly not have been bad for the still very red fillet. Nevertheless excellent fried, and since the recording was not asked for the desired degree of grilling, absolutely in high quality frame! Supplements noble, handmade very good and naturally delicious. quality and quality as in beef; a little more through, but still deep pink super soft and harmonious. Exceptionally well done! Desserts: All taste, aroma, fineness and sweetness 5* terrace series without whether or not; the still somewhat cold solid parfait took up after a few minutes drive and then revealed its fine mocha cream spirit, which made itself good and later creamy under the rumpot fruits. Great! predominantly grounded and harmoniously decorated by extravagant sustainability and quality; We would have salted meat and potatoes more courageously. Top-class gastronomy in a noble ambience also presents excellently recommended at the gates of the Hamburg metropolis! There are almost 100, € per person still reasonable and in a high-quality frame!
This was unexpected to say that we live least near pinneberg for 3 years, but who would have thought to find such a beautiful place. ambiente, service and eating were excellent and after months and months of restaurant abstinence due to the ongoing pandemic it was a true highlight at the beginning of the year 2022. the young team of the restaurants: very well made cordial wish that they gave us an evening to remember!

Beautiful old restaurant, which is part of a hotel. even if all tables are full, the acoustic is good and we do not hear loud talks. we had the summer restaurant month special prefix. gaspacho suppe with thunfischtar beautiful and refreshing. the ravioli. is very good. the main dish was calf or forellenalmon . both dishes were good. my man had wein with each cure for €15,00 extra and found it very sufficient. dessert was ice cream with hot chocolate cake. service was warm and presentation good.
