Novilho D'ouro - Ponta Delgada

Waiter we had was extremely rude and did not explain the meal menu not fully in English and was told we could not share a 12 meat special. I was not hungry and did not want to pay for a meal I would just nibble at. They took my plate and utensils away to be sure I wouldn’t eat off my family’s plate. Mother said it the chicken and beef was dry and side dishes were nothing spectacular except the bananas. Never will recommend this place to anyone.

Come here for Brazilian style meat. Service is also very good. They don't have local fish, but the meat is great

My wife and I went to this restaurant the first night we were in Ponta Delgada. We were the only people there that should have told me something but it was 6 pm and the place had only just opened. I ordered salmon and was told that they were out but they had tune instead so I said OK. I also ordered some bread with cheese which was delicious and then I got a small salad before my meal. Then I received the meal which came with 2 huge slabs of tune some potatoes vegetables. The tuna was over cooked but I tried to eat as much as possible but as it cooled the harder it got to cut because it became like a rock. Not impressed with this place at all. Would not recommend.

We can see this restaurant from our hotel and it is a short walk across the street. The food was delicious. The bread was the best and was almost like having pizza. The waiter spoke good English. We sat near the windows and had a great. Jew of the harbor.
