They are open for lunch only from noon-3pm most days. We ordered the Chicharros Fritos (fried horse mackerel) with beans and boiled potatoes. The fried fish was excellent. A nice surprise was the pickled onions. We also ordered the stewed beef which was so tender. Service was friendly and fast. We borrowed some utensils and ate by the water. Definitely recommend for those who love a local simple spot.
Poor service, no vegetarian options at all, wouldn’t even offer bread rice or potatoes, and they were disrespectful when we asked. Food that was eaten by meat eaters was average at best. Cramped restaurant and people had to shuffle past our table while we were eating and knocked into us.
Feijão assado com “chicharrinhos” e batata vermelha is the best. Do not complicate your choices Will later this week try the octopus
The food is just great! The best beef stew ever, so delicious! The service is not excellent, but the family food they serve is definitely worth it. I had to be free for 45 minutes for a table because they only have 4 and it is usually very busy. I suggest going there early, but don't worry if you have to wait worth it every minute. The prices are fair and the Especial beer is so refreshing! They also have delicious sweet beans pasties as dessert.
It is a good restaurant where you can taste local cuisine. I recommend it! Prices are low, about 7-8 euros for a dish.
