Contribuer aux commentairesWe had an evening meal here and breakfast next day. Food is well prepared. The evening meal choice was steak or perch. We chose the fish and were pleasantly surprised. The breakfast was equally pleasing and even home-made bread for toast. Excellent.
Whenever I have guests visiting Port Stanley, I always take them to the Pineapple Room. Vicki takes care of the desserts and Jon prepares the main meals. The food is exceptional, surpassing any other dining experience I have had globally. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with lovely hosts. It is recommended to call ahead as they are very popular and have limited opening times. Breakfast is not available unless you stay overnight.
The breakfast was exceptional. Every morning the fruit salad was beautifully plated with fresh fruit and we had a great selection of breakfast options. On the two mornings we were there, we had Eggs Benedict, omelettes and flapjacks - all wonderful!We also thoroughly enjoyed the perch dinner and pizza for dinner, banana cream pie and creme brulee for dessert. Fantastic food prepared by Jon and Vicci with wonderful service provided by Dave.
The fruit salad was exceptional, perch and eggs was delicious as was the omellette.
Loved their food especially their pies, but sadly they are not longer open to the public
