It's perfect for a group of friends to share numerous dishes and try a little bit of everything. Be sure to try the cocktails, as the menu has a wide selection. If you're unsure of what to order, the waitstaff are happy to help recommend a cocktail that will suit your taste preferences.
The pork belly buns with green curry sauce are incredibly delicious! I paired them with some excellent cocktails and had a wonderful experience. The price was very reasonable for the amazing quality and service. The ambiance is fantastic and laid-back. This restaurant is a must-visit if you're in the area!
I visited LL Wine and Dine last night and had a great experience. The food was a good value for two people. We enjoyed the edamame (great), duck and cabbage dim sum (ok), massaman curry crumbed lamb popcorn (great), and the crispy pork belly (AMAZING). The cocktails were nice, with a good selection. Overall, I would definitely go back. After everything we had, the bill came to about $115, making it a super affordable option for a Friday night out for two people. The hostess was excellent, very accommodating and quickly moved us inside when it got cold. I can't wait to have the crispy pork belly again!
Female waitress was sour, full of attitude, so much so, we leave before ordering our meal. This is a lovely vibrant spot in Potts Point, bitterly disappointed, as the food is probably beautiful.
It was a cool evening in May and the atmosphere in the lane way was good. We dinned on 2 entrees and 2 mains and a few glasses of wine. We chose the soft shell crab and the chicken san chow boa. The pick was the San Chow boa fresh lettuce and good flavour and the serving was generous. The meal wasn't complicated but enjoyable and change from tradition pork/veal. The crab was a bit bland, admittedly not the season for fresh soft shells it could have had a bit more spices to help it along. The house Chardonnay was enjoyable and went well with the dishes. For mains we went for heavier dishes crispy pork belly and slow cooked beef cheeks. The serving portions were generous and I was excited. The beef cheeks were soft, tender and glutinous but unfortunately it lacked good flavour. The odd piece of carrot tasted boiled and disappointed. The first piece of pork was so dry I don't know what they did with it to be grisly and uneatable. I tried another piece and this was better but still unfulfilling. On hindsight I should have mentioned it. A major upside was the friendly staff who looked after us and was attentive. We have eaten at LL before and the food was good but this meal Fell Short. It may have been a bad night but as it was a Friday night and not overly busy it should have been better.
