Sorry for not being more descriptive almost like a chicken Parmesan. I am always nervous to order salmon at a new restaurant because I don't know if they're going to overcook it, and they succeeded in not doing so. The ambience was OK. Kind of crowded and kind of boxy, we were crammed in a corner. But overall, I think we will return but it just won't be first on the list.
A mixed experience. To me, the beauty of Italian food is its simplicity using fresh ingredients. At our table, the two who ordered simple pasta or gnocchi with sauce were very happy. My wife's orecchiette dish had 8 ingredients plus the pasta so flavors were an indistinct blur. My chicken piccata was built on a mountain of sautéed kale and “rosemary roasted potatoes” which were a skinless mashed glob. But the chicken was tasty! As was the side of grilled garlic broccolini with Calabrian chiles. Desserts of three gelati and limoncello cake were exceptional. But service was mixed, attentive and friendly but we had to ask for bread which came with olive oil that our server dripped on my coat. And the place was cold for the tables near the lengthy windows, so ask to be seated elsewhere.
We love this place SO much!! The signage outside is so deceiving. Maybe you need a more sophisticated sign. The food is crazy good, the service is always perfect, and the ambiance is perfecto.
Food was delicious and service even better. Terrific Aperol Spritz from the bar. Bitter cold day so a bit chilly at first, but then we moved tables and were more comfortable. Will definitely eat here again.
The staff is very attentive- our waiter was exceptional. The food was very good, though some of the flavor profiles in the house made cocktails didn't seem right. Lemoncello has been reliable, blood orange is hit and miss.
