We were sitting for an extended period of time before we were even approached and asked for our drink selections. Unfortunately, the service never improved all evening. We both ordered one of the special menu selections and were served lukewarm food in very small portions. After enduring the evening, we opted out of ordering dessert fearing we would be there another 45 minutes to an hour. We left still hungry and immediately went to Caserta’s to grab a pie! The tab was $109.98 before the tip, which, by the way, was small. Stay away!
Honestly we are a younger couple who decided to take my brother visiting from out of town here. Ignored most of the night. Table near computer where waiters entered orders gave us a non-stop helping of whining waiters. Lovely view of giantic wooden piller. Food was less than desirable. Calamari undercooked, drink cups empty and unfilled most of the night, drink menu taken away after 1 round and brought to another table, despite us already ordering alcohol. Terrible, terrible, terrible. I have no idea what I spent $140 on. To top off night, the "free valet, gets out of my car and hands me keys and says, “I was in the kitchen and stepped on grease so I apoligize for getting it all over your carpet and clutch”. Are you kidding me.
We had a great experience. The entrées tasted great. I love Italian cuisine. This was the Milanese. Chicken Lightly Fried, Topped With Baby Arugula, Grana Padano Cheese, Cherry Tomatoes, Fresh Lemon and Salmon wrapped with bacon, couscous Pecorino Romano Cream with grilled zucchini
We chose Pane e Vino Providence for the recent Mother's Day occasion at the very last minute, mostly because we heard how great their Gluten free menu was. Due to it being Mother's Day graduation season, we knew it would be hard to book a standard table, and it was. Called in the day of and spoke to Austin who was amazing let us sit at the bar instead of outside. THANK YOU AUSTIN!!! Our bartenders for the night were Brian Sam. We were pleased with the food, service overall vibe of the restaurant. Food drinks were DEELISH!!!! Restaurant was a little tight, crowded noisy...but we managed to enjoy nonetheless. Will def be back in the future we happily recommend :
Visiting the city for the weekend and had to stop off here. Saw the gluten free menu online and was shook. I've never been to any non gluten free restaurant that had this much on the menu. The biggest shock was when he said I'll put in an order for gluten free bread and it was actually fresh baked and delicious. I got the grilled pork with spicy fog fig and gnocchi and my partner got the steak. Both were delicious. We also got the cannolo for dessert with a cup a coffee. Amust of you want great food especially if you have to be gluten free
