Incredible food and service! Great vibe with the DJ playing all the best songs from many generations. A bit loud, though, so if you want a quieter dinner ask not to be seated near the speakers. Best tuna ever!
The service was pretty bad.. we were forgot about multiple times and were treated like an inconvenience. This place seems a bit like a tourist trap because of how hyped up it was on social media and travel sites. The food was ALRIGHT. For the amount you’re paying I was expecting so much better. The ambience is so pretty and that’s what they really have going for them.
Very beautiful outdoor setting with many tables covered by thatched roofing. Live music by singer with good voice albeit narrow repertoire; nice touch. Lux menu. Sea bream and miso cod were very good. Sushi was ordinary and crazily priced (and rice was wrong texture). Service is mechanical (many checkins with no apparent interest in the response; amusing). Chocolate mousse was grainy and bitter. Heads-up- signage for restaurant and parking was hands down Terrible. Was very difficult to find esp in the dark. almost gave up.
The food was disappointing as well. Everything was overcooked or charred, lacking flavor and finesse. The steak was undercooked, while the lobster was overcooked—just a complete letdown. The service was inconsistent; there was only one appetizer and cocktail menu provided for our table of five, which is simply ridiculous. No one came to refill our water, and it was difficult to get anyone's attention for help. I won’t be returning to this restaurant. Instead, I recommend trying Coyoba, Coco Bistro, or Magnolia for much better food and service.
