Staff didn't speak English and service was really slow, especially when it came to getting the bill! Food was ok, but my son ordered pasta with tuna and we're still looking for the tuna! Wouldn't recommend this place.
We were invited in by the restaurant 's bouncer. We sat down and experienced that there was nobody who spoke English serving. When we were going to order drinks, only one type of beer amongst several local Italian beers on the menu was available. We experienced the same when we wanted to order soft drinks, sold out for sprite! We order beef and when we got it, it was a strange taste to it. After finishing dinner we wanted to order some dessert from the menu, again the answer was sold out. The atmospher in the restaurant was not relaxing as the music was to loud and stressful
Avoid!Expensive food which was below average. It took more than an hour to get the main dishes. Even then calamari was replaced with shrimp (that had gone bad). The wine we requested had run out so we were brought one that cost 1/3 more.
Restaurant located in the historic center of pula in a historic building with very nice and reserved inner courtyard. the owner who also proceeds to the preparation of the dishes has served us a dinner based on fish from the appetizers to continue with linguine to the axe and grilled of local fish, all great and abundant, supper well compliments, the service managed by prepared and competent staff, the price a little over the norm, but it is worth it.
Lovely setting , too few staff (two in fact), a one hour wait between starter and mains (we think they forgot). Steak not cooked as requested....very disappointed after a long wait) side dish had to be requested again as these were not brought out, clearly they had forgotten. Drink not the one ordered. You could say it was lost in translation but as my partner is Italian that is not an excuse! Saw two couples get up and leave and we should have take note and done the same. My pasta dish was very average and have had better. There are lots of other lovely places to eat in Pula so if good food served on time is what you like, avoid this one!
