I paid with a $100 bill and was given $15 less in change. I didn't notice until I got home. The restaurant offers good vegan choices, but their produce is a bit expensive.
The Crac is situated in a lovely part of town. I was amazed by the variety of items available, such as liquid smoke, vegan ice cream, tempeh, Vegenaise, seaweed, coconut whipped topping, chocolate, and more. They seem to have a good selection of products. The deli counter is also attractive, with dishes containing eggs or dairy clearly labeled.
Great place. No seating there that I could see. Deli with a lot of vegan items. Good kung pao tofu. Crazy good tofu burger (really, really good) on gluten free, vegan bun (by request). Two flavors: bbq and sesame. I liked bbq better. Also, the grocery part of the store has huge selection of vegan items including some prepackaged deserts, as well as healthy items two. I enjoyed it a lot.
Le Crac and La Carotte Joyeuse is an excellent choice for those seeking vegan and vegetarian options. They offer a variety of organic fruits, vegetables, and sandwiches, some with dairy and others without. They also have a wide selection of vegan and gluten-free products. I thoroughly enjoy dining there!
