I love the variety of the menu, to try a little of everything. I almost never met tofu and there it was and it was delicious. the desserts so good I had to come back
It was really great here, I had the menestra, which is like some kind of soy steak served with frijoles beans and plantain, it comes with rice and salad. I really enjoyed it. I also got the enpanada which were really tasty too. Not too expensive overall.
The whole menu is essentially vegan, but I think they serve some real cheese, so just double check. They have a wide array of dishes to choose from. We tried the Philly cheese steak, which was made from seitan had good flavor, nice and juicy. We went back again to try some more local dishes which we are glad we did. We tried the mote pillo which is like a hominy dish super unique flavors kind of like amc and cheese but not quite. Came with avocado, plantains, and some soyrizo. Then we tried the locro, which is a squash soup that was super hearty and delicious it’s local to the Andes region. Definitely try some of the local dishes for an authentic experience!
I was so excited to try vegan versions of Ecuadorian food that aren't usually accessible to vegans. I ordered the empanadas, ceviche and a chocolate cake. All good. The food isnt cheap my bill for all of it was 16 usd but the portion sizes are very generous. I'll be back to try more things!
