I’ve been wanting to try this restaurant out for ages. We live near Portsmouth and went up to Reigate for a special night out. We were not disappointed. The food was exquisite; strong flavours if you want, or delicate spices and tender cuts of meat, flavours from Katmandu or India, whatever you prefer. Excellent experience: an attentive patron, a good wine menu and speedy service, reasonable prices, generous helpings of food, all conspired to create an unforgettable night out. Pity the table of garrulous diners near us were so loud. Will definitely return!
We visited the restaurant on Friday evening without a booking, the place was buzzing we thought we won't be able to get a table but the owner found a spot for us and squeezed us in, he literally made us feel like home, all staff was very welcoming and warm. The food was just amazing and full of flavours, the portions are generous too, definitely worth every single penny. The variety of dishes is superb, everyone will find something for themselves. Definitely highly recommended. Thanks to all Gurkha kitchen team, front and back, for making our evening so special, we will definitely be back!
Amazing restaurant, food is delicious, service is great, nice decor! Have been 3 times, each time was perfect. We will be back again soon!
Busy night as the top part of the restaurant was closed. There were new members of staff, not good when I had to keep asking to keep the wine glasses. They could not understand what a dark rum and diet coke was. Food as ever was tasty and really good.
