Our waitress was one of the best servers we have had in a restaurant in recent times. The food from appetizers to dessert was delicious. Can highly recommend this restaurant for wonderful experience.
We went for our anniversary dinner. We had a “Mini-Me” seafood tower, and the chef was nice enough to substitute the roasted oysters for raw. I only eat raw oysters in months that contain R, and then only at a few trusted places. We got a couple of sides, asparagus and eggplant. All of this was fresh and tasty. Our server, Penny was super-nice. Dessert (chocolate bomb and strawberry cheesecake) was a special treat at the end. We left satisfied but not over-stuffed, fully satisfied with the experience.
The lobster gazpacho (which is only served when tomatoes are in season) is not to be missed! PassionFish has consistent good quality sushi and crab cakes. And if you are interested in dessert, the donut holes are a must!
We were placed on the second floor and judged that to be preferable, much less noisy than main dining room. Our server Michael was excellent, gracious and had good suggestions and opinions, and did not try to sell me the most expensive thing on the menu. He made us feel very welcome. Food, as always, was excellent. I did feel as if they had a lot of presentations where the sauces could be overwhelming to the delicacy of the seafood, but I think people these days seem to like to have their food more spicy than not. Recommended Nd would go back again
We came for our anniversary. I ordered the sea bass with crab meat special and my wife ordered the gumbo. My sea bass was cooked and seasoned perfectly and was probably the best sea bass I have had. The gumbo was very good as well, a little spicy which made it that much better. We will definitely come again.
