I placed a to-go order for a work retreat and ordered in advance (the night before) for pickup the next morning. I specifically requested a gluten-free bun for the burger since it was listed as an option online, but the burger arrived without a bun. The server called to inform us that they were out of pasta salad and asked for an alternative, which would have been a perfect opportunity to mention that they didn't have the gluten-free bun. Aside from that issue, the food was satisfactory.
I love stopping by Tarrants for a quick bite for lunch. The sandwiches are amazing and I love the house made chips. The menu is huge so there’s something for anyone.
Both the appetizers and entrees were outstanding. Our waiter went above and beyond to secure the last two servings of Shepherd's Pie for us, and it was absolutely delightful. We truly appreciated his extra effort on our behalf.
I used to really enjoy Tarrant's a couple of years ago! After moving away from Richmond, it was the first place I wanted to revisit. Unfortunately, I was let down. I was looking forward to their shrimp and grits, but it’s no longer on the menu. The sandwiches were bland, and the crab cake didn’t taste good at all. I'm sorry, but I won’t be returning.
