I love cracker barrel, that's the best! The amount of food they give you for the price is great. It has a beautiful atmosphere, and there is a funny little shop on the front. Her chicken and her cookies are so good. I also recommend the peach ice tea.
It feels like an authentic American experience. As a Dutch type I am not used to (the size) breakfast as they serve in this restaurant. Let's say you don't need snacks until lunch. The waiter was really nice and helpful. We had breakfast in this place during our stays. In my opinion, the best I had was the Bacon n’ Egg Hashbrown Casserole.
Was greeted by the host with a beautiful smile. Once sitting, soo warm and cozy. We sat at the wood burning fireplace and heard the wood cracking was super cool. It has definitely added to the element of holidays. Crystal, our server was the bomb. So friendly and patient. The pancakes were beautiful and buttery and with the warm syrup, shy, super tasty. My sausage was good, but a little cooked. Grits were delicious. Eggs were eggs. My husband's steak was also delicious. I can't wait to return.
The food is truly homemade. People of all kinds were in here. It is family friendly and has a cute gift shop inside the place. The bench I'm sitting on you can buy and take home. Overall I had a good experience here.
