On a corner with seating down a quaint lane it was the perfect spot for laid back dining, excellent pizza base , tasty cacio pepe and surprisingly well priced drinks. If you are looking for friendly local service and less of a rush visit this place!
Our group of six was looking for a nice dinner during our last night in Rome. Our hotel suggested Trattoria Da Gino, since it was within walking distance. We did not have a reservation but they were able to seat us quite quickly. They were obviously understaffed the night we were there so the service was a bit slow. There was some miscommunication when ordering due to the language barrier, however, we did not get what we thought we ordered but what we did receive was very good. Would not hesitate to go back.
What a find in a sea of restaurants in Rome. Our dinner was amazing and reasonably priced. Would highly recommend this restaurant, if you would like to enjoy your food.
Amazing food and price! Good place, not crowded and in a very beautiful zone of the city. Totally recommended!!
We cannot recommend Gino e Pietro enough. Amazing value, beautiful food, very authentic, generous serves. We noticed that all their patrons were Italians, no tourists. The locals know. This place is a gem. We will be back next time we’re in Rome and will be highly recommending this trattoria to all our friends in the meantime. Outstanding!
