Applebee's Grill - Rome

It cost us $70 for the four of us. My son took me, his brother, and his brother's girlfriend out there for Mother's Day. The waiter was excellent - we never ran out of our drinks, and he was very helpful. My son tipped him $20 because he was young and in school or college, but most importantly he did his job well and made sure we were taken care of throughout the meal.

We went to a restaurant in Rome called "Breathe Today." When we arrived, the hostess offered us a high-top table, but we declined. She warned us that if we didn't take that table, we would have to wait 20 minutes. I asked why we couldn't sit at one of the two empty regular tables. She didn't have a good answer, so we waited. We noticed that they seated a man at one of the regular tables right after we sat at the high-top table. A few minutes later, they seated another person at the other regular table. We were disappointed that we couldn't sit at one of those tables. We decided not to return to this restaurant. The waitress was not very attentive or friendly, and the hostess could use some training. Overall, we were not impressed.

The restaurant had excellent service, with just the right amount of attention from the friendly staff and attentive manager. The food was cooked perfectly and served promptly, allowing me to enjoy a fresh and delicious meal.

Food was great. Server was amazon. Our drinks were amazing. The manager checked by to make sure we were doing good. The best Applebees we have ate at in a long time.
