White Castle - Romeoville

Waited 50mins on 5-29-30 @2am for cold food. As long as you have no where to be and don't like eating hot food, you're in the right place: 1265 normantown road. The Several employees were laughing and having a good time doing everything but what they are being paid to do. Is there a manager here or are they in on the laziness and incompetent. Have fun! I will not be returning.

Let me start with, that I love White Castle but this location is absolutely horrible. I have been living in Romeoville for 5 years and not even once they made order correctly. Either they forget cheese sauce, forget to add ketchup when asked or they make completely different sliders. Today was the last straw. Not only they made completely different sliders but the meat was undercooked and all red. I used to work at White Castle and we had to provide excellent customer service and make perfect sliders but here we had to wait 5 minutes for them to take our order while they were just standing and talking about the upcoming weekend. They should find a different manager or shut this place out

Since the closest White Castle to my home provides terrible service, I had to find another location for my Jalapeño Cheese Sliders addiction. This location is pretty good, employees are friendly and the restaurant is clean. I paid around $50 for 20 Jalapeño sliders , 4 small fries, 2 chocolate oreo shakes, and 2 medium drinks.

I've been coming to this White Castle for several years but only ordered through Drive Thru, and service is usually slow. Decided to place order online this time as i now live 1 town over and pick up in-store, thinking service would be faster. I purposely arrived over 10 minutes after food was supposed to be ready, thinking I'd be in and out quickly. I wasn't greeted or acknowledged for several minutes after arriving, though I made eye contact with 2 employees. Food wasn't ready when I arrived either. There were 4 employees, 2 of which seemed to be working on a smooth speed, 1 wasn't too concerned and the last was of a young man who was just slow (as molasses). This makes sense of the slow service all these years.

Food is usually fresh and tasty but my only complaint, why are the hours inconsisten? I pull into the drive thru and they respond “We closed.” Seriously, it’s 10pm. I guess late night craving are out of question cause you’ll be disappointed, occasionally. Update: please check your order before leaving. 9/10, it could be wrong. This place is inconsistent.
