We were greeted by the staff (or maybe the owner) who was able to communicate in English and responded to our questions. The service was very courteous....The food was fresh and tasty. Our party of six had four beers, one tea and one bottle of water to drink. The Surrkolette is rib meat, that was very tasty. The fish (Zanderfilet) was cooked perfectly and the platting was beautifully done. My wife had a cheese platter with good balance and variety. Zwettler beer Dunkles was exceptional. Our tab for six was 91 euros which was very reasonable.
Fora rest we made a stop here. it's really busy cause u sit almost in the middle of the only street in the city. wines was ok also the food for that price
We came in only for a marillen strudel and marillen palaschinken, but those were quite average, we tried much more better ones elsewhere in Wachau. The wines were also not best, but tasty and Wachau style.
Very delicious. I had fish and my wife had the sausage. Great Riesling wine. Service and staff were so good to us even though we were the only ones who did not speak German. Highly recommend.
