Its always a delight to be able to actually get vegan cheese (they use Daiya) on a pizza, not to mention the cool flavor profiles of Indian cuisine that they have available for most of their pies. Quality is quite good and quantity is the only place I would wish was better as I really like 16-20inch vegan pizzas from another local place, but Twist only goes up to 14inches. That bit aside, they also have a vegan cheese cake the owner was proud of and so that is also something to consider. Personally i'm very excited to work my way through the menu and especially with their vegan tacos they offer as well. Overall my verdict is that this place is rad. This pizza satisfied ally pepperoni cravings. Great flavor, texture and toppings. I'm looking forward to trying their other vegan pizzas.
Pizza Twist recently opened, and they are a delightful and friendly team creating some seriously delicious vegan cakes. It's always a pleasure to find actual vegan cheese (they use Daiya) on a pizza, along with unique flavors inspired by Indian cuisine that are featured in many of their cakes. The quality of the food is quite good; however, I do wish the portion sizes were larger. I typically enjoy 16-20 inch vegan pizzas from another place, but Twist only offers up to 14 inches. On a positive note, they also have a vegan cheesecake that the owner takes great pride in, so that's definitely worth trying. I'm very excited to explore the entire menu, especially their vegan tacos. Overall, I would say this place is a gem! (Updated from a previous review on December 21, 2020)
We ordered an all-meat vegan pizza and their BBQ vegan wings. Unfortunately, the vegan pepperoni, chicken, and sausage barely contributed to the flavor. The chicken tasted more like plain tofu, lacking seasoning to replicate the taste of actual chicken, and it seemed to be just thrown on the pizza during cooking. On a positive note, the wings were quite good. However, I’d prefer to skip the disappointing toppings and stick to a simple cheese pizza next time.
