Contribuer aux commentairesThe restaurant is situated in a beautiful location and has a charming ambiance. The prices on the menu are reasonable. However, when we visited, there was only one person in the kitchen and one serving the tables. We were informed that they had run out of pizzas and my son's dish was also unavailable. Despite the server being sympathetic, it took almost 45 minutes to receive our appetizers. The overall experience was disappointing, especially considering the positive reviews on Tripadvisor.
We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance on the Internet and decided to give it a try. We had some difficulty finding it, even with the address, as it is tucked away in a church hotel and didn't appear open due to the off-season. The restaurant offers a lovely view of the river, which must be stunning to enjoy in the summertime. Despite being the only guests, besides a few locals, we felt welcomed and comfortable in the quiet setting. The staff were all very friendly, and we were able to get by with our limited French. My husband opted for the table d'hote menu for an extra $12, which included a choice of appetizer (scampi cocktail, minestrone soup, or spaghetti bolognaise), main course (Scallopina al parmiggiano), dessert (creme brulee), and coffee. I chose the Canolli with Mascarpone and a glass of wine. While we have had better Italian cuisine in Europe, this was a satisfying alternative to the typical options we had been eating. The total bill came to $70, including tip, which was quite reasonable considering the quality and taste of the food. Overall, a great experience and we will definitely be returning.
I had the best experience at PaintloungeWe hosted my birthday at the College Street location and had a blast.
Very friendly place If you are looking into hanging out with friend who want to do something artsy, the space of the location is good for group activitiy,
I purchased several Groupons when there was a 20% discount. One of the Groupons was for a paint class with a complimentary drink for one person for $25.
