Contribuer aux commentairesNiq was our waitress, didn't even check us out. forever, to my margarita it was melted, the steak was not cooked at all. we didn't get any refill we wanted on our drinks. the hostess was incredibly rude to tell us we should not sit on the bar because we did not order “real” drinks. the manager was super nice and caring, but I was really disappointed. I've often been sad there.
If I could give 0 stars it would be appropriate. We had to wait a bit to put in our appetizer and drink order but understood because it was St Patty's and they were working with new staff. Our app came out and was served with no drinks and no offer of water. Half way thru app we had to ask two different staff for forks. We then asked if we could get some water while we waited for our drinks. We watched people at the bar being served their second round and a table near the bar that sat down after us receive their drinks. Still no drinks for us. Our waitress said she was fussed at by the bartender when she asked for our drinks. We were then served our entrees.... Still no drinks. We asked for the manager, who basically explained that if we had been seated in the bar section we would have gotten better service. (We weren't offered that option when we were seated or we definitely would have taken it She gave several other excuses as to why our service was less than acceptable. She promised to discount our food to help make things right. Our drinks finally came, we finished our meal.... Except for the shrimp that were water logged. We waited for the bill for quite some time. Finally arrived with no discount presented. When our waitress came to pick it up I mentioned the managers promise to discount..... We waited and waited and waited for her to return until we started feeling like we were being held hostage. Finally called her over.... She said her manager was busy on the phone with the GM. We told her to go ahead and charge full amount so we could leave.Summary: The bartender had only her own best interest in mind.... Not wanting to help the other servers with drinks. The manager, Ms. Lori, was not taking control of that situation. And the servers were all new with no experience to stand up to what was happening. One of the new employees, Peyton, who cleared our table stood out as the stellar employee of the night. Called in to cover for a fellow employee and new to the restaurant industry, he seemed to care the most about taking care of the customers and helping his team. Cudos to Peyton. Needless to say we will never return to the Salisbury Applebee's.
Server didn't know the menu very well when asked something like what's on your side salad. Place seemed really slow didn't seem like your normal Applebee's. Food could have had much more flavor just seemed so bland compared to what Applebee's I've had before. Decent night all around someone bought our drinks for us. They just need some more pazaz in the food and the atmosphere.
They need to shut down till they take care of their roach problem. I went to the ladies room. Seen a few baby roaches on the floor, but I really had to pee.I washed my hands and went to dry them. As soon as I waved my hand infront of the paper towel dispenser, paper towels came out but so did roaches, some had been smooshed into the paper towels. How many people have dried their hands on the nasty paper towels.I couldnt get out of this restaurant fast enough!Sadly they also mixed up my husband's and my steak orders. That was ok.We opted for applebees, due to the fact Texas rd House was packed and so was Lone Star. You better believe next time we will wait in line.I would have gotten pictures, but I was to freaked out at the time. If the ladies bathroom thats next to the kitchen was this infested, I can only imagine what the kitchen looks like.
We ordered some steaks and the could not cook the correctly even after two tries they didn't even have the beer that I wanted one of the worst experiences I have had.
