In town for business and was looking for an establishment for a lite dinner and that was open till 10. I was dining later due to work obligations and it was too close to 9 to walk into a restaurant that closes at 9. I 've worked in the industry and understand the difficulty in clean up for the BOH when people order minutes before close. Small city brewing advertises a 10 closing time. I walked in at 850 and immediately recieved attitude and heard the manager or possibly the owner walk away and say kitchen closes at 9 to a staff member as he turns his back on me. As an owner, have the decency to inform a patron that you have chosen not to honor the listed business hours. I told the staff I would put my order in immediately. More attitude so I left. Small all around. My experience with other establishments in Sandusky has been very positive and I have enjoyed my time here. Meal type: Dinner Service: 1

We travel to the area every year and make it a point to always stop at Small City Taphouse. My partner loves the sushi! Says it's the best he's had. I enjoy the vegetarian options. It is such a cool space and we have loved watching it grow. CLAG beer sogood too!! ????
