I was with my daughter. eating was amazing. not complaining. we offered ourselves a selection of glittering or quiet water (which was cold) when we sat down. we got an amuse bouché, which every beginning....We were also offered a small roll with a selection of white, full flour, roggen or sourdough along with a leaf butter. we then had in order with my daughters and then my daughters: entree: soufflé double baked tasmanic rock lobster braised scottsdale pork belle main: flambé prawns (which was cooked at the table) isle sky tasmanian bio huhn dessert: flambé crêpes suzettes (which was cooked at the table). the service was very fast, eating was delicious and hot. the server we had justin was amazing. he was funny and very attentive. he made the meal to enjoy a pleasure. will definitely come back.
The staff was nice, the meal was adventurous, but tasty and I wish I could have eaten all of me who were willing to die. we couldn't blame anything and made it for a very special jubilee meal for us. we'll be...back.
Although we already knew that the location on l 17 of wrest point casino was amazing, the food expanded this experience beyond our expectations. Toby , the chef chef, delivered the most sensational choice of dressing, with matching weeping to our..., the high point of our trip to tasmania .. the staff was courtesy, informed and we were never rushed here.
I was immersed on a laune in this restaurant while I was on a weekend holiday in hobart, so I wasn't drawn out for an expensive night, but I didn't look ashamed. I probably looked a bit like mike Cannon-Brookes (one of the richest people in Australia who don't wear any suit) from the minute I came in, treated myself as having no money. first I was told that the restaurant was completely booked (it was completely empty) then I was shown the menu at the door to make sure that I want to eat there before I could have a table. When I finally scored a table, I was told that there was a minimum order of two deer or a main court per person. the friendly smiles of the staff hardly concealed their reconciling attitude, and it completely ruined an otherwise pleasant meal. I couldn't wait to go and they couldn't wait to get rid of me. the haloumi and the artichoke dishes were delicious and well represented. but the risotto was annoying, soggy and unlust. this is a really nice restaurant that is totally ruined by snobbery.
The staff at the restaurant are wonderful and friendly. And the meals were delicious -more expensive than the normal but definitely worth it and not one of those meals from a fine dining experience that come out and you think you have already eaten it....We were full.
