I had an amazing experience! I traveled from Rhode Island to New York and saw their fried cucumbers, cream cheese, shredded cheese, and bacon wrapped in eggs on Facebook, so I had to give them a try. They did not disappoint! They were delicious, along with everything else we ordered. I mentioned to the hostess that I was from Rhode Island, and the owner, Heather, came out to meet us, which was such a thoughtful gesture. The atmosphere, service, and food were all fantastic! I will definitely return!
I absolutely loved everything! The food was fantastic, especially the ribs! The sauces were incredible, and the side dishes tasted just like homemade. The service was excellent, particularly Ruth the bartender. We highly recommend this place and plan to be regulars!
When this place was called Prospectors, the food was outstanding. I really wanted to give it another chance, but I ended up being more disappointed. The cornbread was crumbly when I cut into it, the brisket was dry and tough, and the pulled pork sandwich was just meat piled on bread. The Alfredo sauce was watery, and the mountain deer had a strange lime flavor. I have a feeling the server was aware of the food quality because she didn’t even check on us until I asked for boxes. Dining here just wasn’t worth it for us, but I’m sure my dogs will enjoy the leftovers.
