Hungry Moose Restaurant - SCHREIBER

Nothing fancy about this place. A small, rural diner. The food was excellent, prepared by someone who takes pride in getting a good meal out. Don't judge a book by its cover.

I stopped by this restaurant during a motorcycle ride to seek shelter from the rain. I found the food to be delicious, the prices reasonable, and most importantly, the staff to be very friendly! The family that runs the restaurant was extremely helpful in providing information about the area, local politics, and US issues. We had breakfast there and didn't want to leave once the rain stopped. We will definitely be back on our next trip! I highly recommend the egg and ham sandwich - it was so big that I couldn't finish it!

Stopped in during a rainy period on the motorcycle, to dry out. Discovered excellent food, reasonable prices, and most important, good people~! My family gets to eat here once a year and we always look forward to it! Amazing food, service is great, I also love how welcoming the owners are. Our children love coming here to hear the jokes, they love the food, atmosphere and how they're treated (they also love playing on the triceratops). I would highly recommend anyone passing through to stop in for a bite! My personal fave is Dave's grilled cheese!
