Contribuer aux commentairesWe found La Bodeguita by coincidence when passing by on our way to Valencia. First of all, the oldtown of Sogorb is an experience by itself. Tiny, charming streets lead to the castle on top with a great view of the landscape. As non-Spaniards with the intention to eat authentic tapas besides the restaurants in the centres of the big, touristic metropols, we decided to give it a shot here and luckily got one of the tables out on the street. We really enjoyed the atmosphere. Altough it was quite busy, the waitress was very friendly and attentive all over the time and made us feel welcome. As we're not very experienced with the tapas-culture, the waitress explained the different types to us. We didn't manage to select from the variety of tapas, therefore we just asked the waitress to get us a balanced mix and fully trusted her recommandations. The results where overwhelming, over a span of 1,5h the waitress served the whole spectrum (vegetables, meat, fish) and gave impressive insights to the spanish cuisine. This visit was definitely one of our highlights of our trip to Spain, in case we will return to the area, there is no doubt where to go. Thanks for this special evening!
It's the first time we've come here and I definitely recommend it, exceptional food, a charming place, but what we liked the most was the waitress who served us, her name is Debbie (Deborah). When you find someone who likes their work, it shows. She is also very nice and has been able to advise us very well. Thank you, we will definitely be back.
It is not what is expected. Based on information from google, and that we were completely unaware of Segorbe. We were looking for a place to have a good tapas dinner (after 58km from Ojos Negros we needed to eat well) and it was a disappointment. They only had two cold marinated chicken tapas (it was acceptable). It's not a tapas place, it's a rock pub, with good music. They say they serve tapas but there were only 2 options. It is a rock pub in Segorbe. It is not suitable for dinner, if for drinks.
