We also ordered the tagliatelle; tasteless, watered down, the rocket placed under the meat, no coarse salt and no parmesan flakes. Even the first courses are not very juicy and not very tasty. We started with the appetizers and as soon as a plate was emptied they took it away without even asking or waiting a moment, so with each course they put us in a great hurry. We had dinner in 40 minutes. Unwelcoming staff, moreover when it was time to pay what it seemed like the owner was waiting for us at the checkout with the bill that seemed already done (further rush) and with an annoyed face. We wanted to pay at Romana (divided by 5) and he deliberately decided to round up the price for everyone (by 20 cents) including those who paid by card. He didn't even ask us if everything was ok, nor a smile or a hello. We weren't even outside before our tables were already set up. Fast service is fine but it gave us the impression that they wanted to send us away as soon as possible.

Best meal we had in Siena. We had the red turnip risotto and carbonara with artichokes. Classics with a bit of a twist, creating dishes that were balanced, comforting and interesting all at the same time. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €20–30
