I would definitely recommend this place. I give the food, service, and atmosphere a perfect score of 5. I highly recommend trying the Sausage and Mashed Potatoes with Gravy.
Cost per person: £30–40 The food, service, and atmosphere all receive top marks with a rating of 5. Highly recommended dish: BBQ Pork Ribs.
We had a pleasant experience at this restaurant, with a nice covered area in the back that was perfect for our large group. The food was decent, but nothing exceptional. I personally tried the sea bass and found the combination of clementine salsa, skin-on fish on pickled cucumber, and salty crab ball to be underwhelming. The burger was not well-received by the men in our group, but my cousins enjoyed the chicken sandwich and salmon salad. The rhubarb crumble was tasty, while the sticky toffee pudding was extremely dense, resembling a Christmas fruit pudding. Unfortunately, our service was lacking, particularly from one staff member who was not very kind and seemed impatient with an elderly family member. Despite this, the village setting and spacious back area make me inclined to return for a drink in the future. Overall ratings: Food 3/5, Service 4/5, Atmosphere 4/5.
