Then Stephanie came over and said she had experienced the same issues. I tried to explain that we had been having problems with our meals during our last three visits, but no one seemed to care. The dishes looked old-fashioned and lacked flavor. On one occasion, the speck was rubbery but when I mentioned it, nothing was done. This time, when I complained again, Stephanie had a rude tone and we both became heated. It was unprofessional and we will not be returning to this establishment. It is disappointing that despite being loyal customers for years, we were treated so poorly. I had hoped that the quality of the food and service would improve, but it seems like it will only continue to decline. Stephanie and the staff will lose more customers if they continue to be negative and dismissive. They need to address the issues with their food and service, as we have no intention of dining here again.
Looks like c kelly has a bad morning, that's regrettable. it is worth noting that about an hour of her contribution I was also served breakfast by stephanie (the employee in the post mentioned.) I then went online to write her a nice review as she was so kind for me and my party of 2. I'll see a bad one. I have lived in 17 states and passed through 19 countries and lived in 3 of them. from all the times I have eaten outside the house or lager, stephanie is undoubtedly the friendliest, friendly, bubbly, server I have ever had. she is always so professional and it is always a pleasure. I feel bad that this individual had a different experience than I did. I enjoy going to susie at least once a week. I can't wait until next week. Many thanks that stephanie and susie are for such a beautiful, clean and welcoming atmosphere in these uncertain and tempting times for so many Americans.
The food at this restaurant was delicious and plentiful. I ordered the mussel casserole and it exceeded my expectations with its delicious flavor. For my main course, I had the meatloaf dinner with three large, beautiful pieces of meat and tasty potatoes with gravy. My wife ordered the Monte Cristo with fries and thought it was one of the best she has ever had, with generous portions. We are new to the area and are impressed with the great comfort food here. I look forward to trying her breakfast one day.
Server was great. we had the filled mushrooms for a starter. filled mushrooms really tasted good, but they were sitting in a dish filled considerable amount of oil. I looked past when they really taste good. I have a filled tomato blossom with chicken salad on an salate. the chicken salad was mined, which I am not a big fan of but overall very bland and full mayonnaise. the salat was cheap iceberg salad and had no taste again. I tried to dress it with a little cheese, but I must say that I didn't enjoy it at all and only eat about 1/2 of it. I feel as if it had done so much better my man got the seafood platter- one of the most expensive dishes on the menu it was filet by tilipia and 3 garnel floating in oil, which supposedly should be a lemon butter sauce that was disturbed by lemon or butter. once again he did not enjoy his meal and we both felt bad after it from whole oil. my daughter has her waffled and cocky. they may serve good meals, but we have not chosen the right ones.
I do not understand all of the good reviews posted for this place...maybe the key is to go for breakfast only? We went to this establishment for dinner after reading such great reviews and was terribly disappointed. The hostess was unfriendly seating us. When we asked if our table could be cleaned it was done with attitude and was not even clean. I asked if it could be cleaned properly please and she called over someone else to do it. This guy used two rags he had pulled from his back pocket and wiped the table so aggressively. The table still looked disgusting with more smears on it after his rag wiping attack to it. If they were using proper sanitizing procedure between patrons then the table wouldn't have been in that condition. The seat also had a huge rip in it. We ended up leaving without buying anything and went to another locally owned restaurant that provided GREAT service.I do not know what has happened to the customer service in Spring Hill, but I can assure you you will not get it from the dinner staff at this establishment. I am afraid to see what goes on in the kitchen if that was acceptable.
