I did not buy any Arancine in Buongiorno Italia for a while, and today I have got 6 but unfortunately, they were a huge disappointment. Basically, they were balls of rice with 5% ragù (meat). I understand that the cost of production is rising due to inflation, but scamming clients with such a poor product is basically an insult to Italian culture. You just lost a client.
I stopped by for some of the most delicious Italian sausages and treated myself to a freshly made Ciabatta Italiano - both were absolutely amazing! The staff was friendly and even helped carry my bag to my car. The shop is busy and everything looks so tasty that I always end up spending more than I planned. I am a regular customer and highly recommend this place.
I decided to check out this restaurant for the first time based on the good reviews I had heard. The food selection was great, with high quality and tasty options available at the deli counter and shelves. However, my overall experience was not enjoyable. The man, likely the owner, was not welcoming and even started shouting at his young worker in front of customers. It was uncomfortable and made me feel sorry for the employee. I just wanted to leave as soon as possible. Good customer service is important to me, and this negative interaction has put me off from returning. Despite the delicious prosciutto, the bad service was a major drawback.
I stopped by this morning to purchase some Crodini and Pear juices. I also decided to try a couple of cannoli and sfogliette sweet pastries. Unfortunately, the filling inside both pastries was hard, leading me to believe they were a few days old. This was disappointing, especially considering the shop is a hidden gem full of Italian delicacies.
Everything is good about this place. The food is fantastic from delicious hams, and cheeses to the Italian wines, oils and balsamic vinegar.
