I am fortunate to spend time in Stockholm every few months. I try to eat here because the staff is so nice and the food is delicious! I am usually alone, and they always make me feel welcome. The last time I ate here, I had the pan-fried herring, which was amazing. I also had the shrimp appetizer. I can remember the Swedish name... sorry. That was also incredibly yummy. I highly recommend eating here but I encourage you to make a reservation.
Just Wow! This place is amazing, with its location being in the old town, and the traditional dishes they serve it is definitely a must go. We went for their Swedish Meatballs (Kötbullar), it was super delicious and portion wise very big as well. I had an amazing time there sitting, chilling, slowly eating my meal while enjoying my drink, and watch the people pass by. They were also incredibly kind and the service was awesome.
Great place all around. Fast response to my email request for a reservation; friendly, well-lit dining room (too often you can’t even read a menu without a flashlight!! ; very good food in generous but not ridiculous portions; fair wine prices. Highly recommended for anybody who wants to try Swedish food for the first time.
Delicious pan fried fish with potatoes. We also had the flight with SOS— awesome. The street seating added a nice casual flare. And the cauliflower with puréed chick peas was very good.
