The cook asked how we liked our food and we told him that it was amazing (and it was actually). In the end, the cook took the time to shake each of my family's hands as a sign of gratitude. I've seen a little emotional about my new beloved friend, but Atlas will meet again. Would eat again!
Excellent local restaurant in the Middle East in Streamwood! I have the combination feast that comes with rice (under the meat) and some vegetables. I also ordered the Felafel appetizer (4), and I got baklava for dessert. Your hot (red) sauce is really hot! More spicy than other local Pita shops. I loved the hot sauce, but it's not for everyone. Go to Pita BBQ for tasty and tasty food! They are Zabiha Halal (like Kosher for Muslims).
Amazing food. Shawarma sandwiches and garlic seasoned pommes are the best.
Truly Streamwood's only quality redeems great food at reasonable prices huge portions. Chili Chin is the best. Garlic sauce is perfect. Rice was always perfectly cooked. Beef-shawarma is beautifully spiced and nothing is too heavy. The combination plate is our way to order. My SO and I separated it for dinner, and we still have two meals worth leftovers the next day.
Do not sleep on this place!!! Someone described this place as “truly Streamwood’s only redeeming quality,” so we had to try it as we passed through the town. They were NOT WRONG! I had the falafel wrap and my partner had the chicken shawarma plate. Both were outstandingly fresh and flavorful. The French fries were delicious too. Great portion sizes. Very pleasant staff too. We left extremely pleased and VERY satisfied. We live an hour away, but we like driving, so we’ll likely come back just for Pita BBQ.
