The handmade items at this restaurant are beautiful, but they are on the pricier side.

The family who owns Annie's Kitchen was extremely friendly. We enjoyed our meal next to the tent and loved the waffle hot dogs, pulled pork sandwiches, and ice cream. The business is family-owned and we also purchased some handmade ornaments made from local birch tree bark, which were a bit pricey at $25-$35, but worth it for the unique, local craftsmanship.

My son and I stopped by intrigued by the hand forged knives. The owner could not have been more helpful and informative. He educated us on the knife making process and taught us what to look for when shopping for authentic hand crafted knives. His whole family is involved in their market, the daughter makes jewelry and really takes pride in her work. Such a great family. He gave us a tip on where to fish in the area and we coincidentally met up with his kids who were amazing and gave my son great fishing advice

At the Mexican Moose stand, we discovered a variety of affordable handmade items. The knitted products are crafted by hand and are of excellent quality.

I found the sign for The Mexican Moose, but their shop was empty. A torn and tattered awning was over an oven type table but nothing else was there. No people, no food, no shop, no nothing. Gone for the end of season? I don't know, it was end of August, first week of September, a little early to already be abandoned.
