I always want my meals to be memorable when dining out, and this place definitely delivers in that regard. While the ambiance of the restaurant could use a little improvement, the quality of the food and service are what really matter, and this restaurant excels in both areas!
This restaurant serves amazing food that will impress you with its flavors and quality. The beautiful decor and peaceful atmosphere will enhance your dining experience. The polite waiters and staff only add to the positive experience. It is definitely one of the top Indian restaurants in Texas. Who would have imagined finding such a hidden gem in Temple? I can't get enough of their green beans. You must try the samosas when you visit Roopa's, it's a must-order item.
The ambiance was pleasant. I enjoyed the food, ordering chicken curry, chicken 65, goat curry, fish tikka, and plain rice. South Indian cuisine seems to often incorporate coconuts into their curries, which is not typical for us, but I didn't mind it. Overall, everything was tasty and the service was courteous. We had a pleasant dining experience.
My only regret is not coming here sooner. Hands down the most delicious Indian food in the area. Food was incredibly temperature hot, and the spicy still had a lot of flavor. My wife and I will 100% come back. Its the right price for such amazing food. 1app, 2 meals, 2 breads and 2 deserts and 2 beverages was about $70. Big portions of everything, we have left overs. *My wife andI eat a lot of spicy food, so know your limits. When we told our waitress spicy for everything her eyes got big.
This is a hidden small restaurant with very good vegan options. I was very happy.
