Holzknechtstube Am Fuschlsee - Thalgau

We arrived late at our hotel and we could see the lights of this restaurant from the parking lot. There were only a few customers but we were welcomed by a young and enthusiastic staff. Our waitress wore pink lederhosen and had hot pink hair to match. We had a nice light dinner and found it good enough to come back again. On our second visit the food took much longer but it was tastey and the server very friendly.

I liked this place a lot. There was a D.J. playing some really nice mellow house tunes outside in the evening sun. The food was very nice. Not amazing but very tasty and worth having again. I especially love the fact that the building is...obviously an old traditional build but the concept is new and vibrant. I met a table of complete strangers that had just met whilst visiting this place and we all had a great time in each others company. Fantastic! Would go again in a heart beat.
