Firkin on the Bay is a fantastic new addition to this beautiful area. Even if you choose to dine indoors, the large windows offer stunning views of Lake Ontario and the downtown Toronto skyline.
Interior design: I appreciated the London tube-inspired decor. Customer service: Unfortunately, the service was lacking. The server did her best but was overwhelmed, leading to a long wait for my meal due to a power outage. The management could improve their handling of unexpected situations.
I really love this restaurant. I used to come here every weekend during the summer. The prices are fair, the service is fast, and the staff is friendly. The outdoor seating in the summer is the highlight. The decor is lovely and gives the restaurant a charming British vibe.
I usually go to this place. Nice view, acceptable food. Last night we went there weather was nice but they didn't let us to sit in the patio cause it was after 10pm however they were still open and still people sitting in the patio. Not sure why the have this funny rules as summer is short and people still sitting there and its not even time for closing! After sitting inside, one lady working there was kind of manager, was really rude to us and gave us bill, while we still sitting and ordering drinks. It was like she was thinking, we wanna run away! Not a good experience!Never seen it before!
Would be a nice spot to sit and have a meal or drink on that patio, with views of the beach and boardwalk.Unfortunately the burger was average, tasted pan fried, with wilted shredded lettuce. The truffle fries were pretty good. Service was good, with friendly
