Contribuer aux commentairesStaff is very friendly. However, the food was mediocre at best. The striploin steaks were not up to your usual standards. Very disappointing since we were there to celebrate a special birthday. I use a walker and the entrance doors are extremely heavy and require assistance to open and close ditto for the washroom. My partner had to move a chair at our table so I could fit at the table. Definitely not a good locale for people with mobility issues.
Jawny Bakers is not even close to where I live, but I'll sit in the back seat with two other people so my family can eat there. Everything there is delicious from the salads, to the appetizers, to the steak and burgers. They give a generous amount of fries, and everything is always hot and fresh. If you're looking for a casual dining experience with good food, I'd really recommend you try them.
The three of us enjoyed our happy hour shareable plates. The ambience was conducive to having intimate conversations without having to shout. I will likely go there again during the Happy Hour specials.
Great service and delicious food Good atmosphere in the dining room Cosy and up to date overall great experience
It was our first visit at this restaurant, a neighborhood gem! The ambiance is very cozy. There is an actual fireplace. The music is just at a good level and we could have a conversation without having to scream at each other. The service was perfect, very friendly and helpful when we had questions about the menu. Can't remember the gentleman's name who served us (I think it was Chris – he was very pleasant. My husband had chicken parmesan, which he enjoyed (and he is picky ; . I had a sirloin steak with the peppercorn gravy. Best steak I had in a long time. Prices are fine, way more affordable than any similar place downtown . We will definitely go back. I highly recommend this place for a nice dinner to relax and enjoy great food in great company.
