Contribuer aux commentairesThe restaurant has recently been renovated, although it could definitely use an upgrade. The seating consists of uncomfortable, pointed long chairs and tables with plastic tablecloths, which seems odd considering the greasy nature of the Sichuan food they serve. However, the menu is extensive, offering options for both vegetarians and meat lovers, from pork to fish. During our visit, we ordered the sliced fish in garlic sauce as a tasty appetizer, followed by the beef in black bean sauce and the main dish, chicken hot pepper, which was flavorful and had a generous portion size. We also tried the egg fried rice, which helped to balance out the spiciness of the Sichuan dishes. On our second visit, we explored more of the menu and ordered the marinated ribs, which were incredibly tender and flavorful, and the eggplant in chili garlic sauce, a great option for vegetarians. Despite a mix-up with the egg and shrimp fried rice, we enjoyed our meal. Overall, I enjoyed the flavors of the food, especially the chicken hot pepper, and would consider returning. The restaurant could improve its table and seating arrangements, as well as the occasional unpleasant odor. Despite this, the food and service were good, earning the restaurant a rating of 3.5-4/5 and making it worth a return visit.
You can't go wrong with a meal at this Vietnamese restaurant. They consistently serve generous portions of delicious pho and crispy egg rolls.
While the restaurant may not have a stunning aesthetic, the food is truly exceptional. The service is quick and reliable, making it a great option for a meal before or after a movie, theater show, or event at the Rogers Centre. The atmosphere is relaxed and casual, making it a convenient choice for a satisfying meal.
