Only dipped here to get out of the rain to be honest. To start with the guy behind the counter was extremely short with us while we were deciding what to get. Only two of three of us were getting food and he really seemed to have a problem with that. We sat down and the kebabs came out. No garlic sauce, no chilli sauce. Instead, a massive glob of cheap mayo on top staring up at me. A sad indicator of what was to come. If I was to use three words to describe the chicken it would be these. Dry, bland and grisly. I came across not less than three bones. The whole thing was thoroughly undersauced, the salad was limp. If you make one decision in your entire life, make it avoiding this absolute failure of a restaurant.
Admittedly. this wasn't the prettiest or fanciest place for biryani. We went to Whitechapel in the quest for very cheap biryani. Food wasn't not lip smacking good but decent and good size portion at budget price. Menu wasn't exhaustive but then we were there for the rice. The toilet was under reno when we ate that day but hopefully it will be done up soon.
Staff are friendly, cheap and very tasty food. Would recommend a curry with naan or roti, but people come in for the samosas a lot which go down well. It is only small and may not seem aesthetically appealing from the outside, but the food more than makes up for any doubts
I visited this restaurant when I first moved to Whitechapel. It reminded me of a cheaper version of Dixie's with similar colors but a different name. They offer curries, kebabs, and fried chicken. Unfortunately, I was not impressed with anything I tried. The hygiene standards were very low and the chicken I ordered was soggy and pale instead of crispy and golden brown. I will not be returning to this establishment. The staff seemed indifferent towards customers, which was evident from their attitude.
