Gally's Bar Restaurant - Tralee

This restaurant is always bustling with friendly staff and a wide variety of options on the menu. Each of us ordered a different main course and they were all delicious.

I recently went to Gally's for a charity event in support of Haven, a local cancer support charity, during the Rugby World Cup. The atmosphere was fantastic as we enjoyed a BBQ and watched Ireland defeat South Africa in a pool game. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. After such a great experience, I was excited to bring my family back for Sunday lunch on October 1st. We all loved the tasty food, excellent service, and reasonable prices. Gally's has definitely won us over as regular customers.

I went for dinner with my uncles and my grandmother. We had a waitress, I think her name was Anna. She was a young, blonde girl with braces. Her attitude was absolutely appalling. Blunt, cheeky responses to my uncle’s simple questions. Nothing friendly about her. We left no tip as we didn’t think she deserved it. It doesn’t take a lot to be a little friendly. However, the rest of the staff made up for it. We ordered a couple soups and 4 mains. When my 90 year old grandmother was not even halfway through her soup, the mains came, which had to be brought back to the kitchen as she was nowhere near finished. Just a poor experience in general. However, not all negative. The food was absolutely delicious and we cleaned all our plate. And the food was very reasonably priced. Just a pity about the waitress we had :

Went with my friend for lunch, we were seated at a cramped table for 2 with a door opened behind out backs, we asked a member of staff could we move to a different table and she replied so rudely and abruptly, no that is yer table and ye will have to stay there cause the lunch hour will be busy but at that time there was only 8 people dining there. We got up and left. We have 2 big family functions (40 people) next year and I was going to book that day we went over there but won't ever be going back there again.

The fastest service ever, our food was delivered less than 10mins after ordering. Very tasty, well prepared. Good drinks, clean space and friendly service. Highly recommend.
