Always worth a trip. Two stars at affordable prices.

This hotel is a complete joke!!! Everything inside is very cheap and not well maintained. Starting from the service at the reception, going to the room and the so called 2 stars Michellen Restaurant . The receptionist guy was a young man about 20...something. Very rude and not welcoming. The room was spacious but so dirty everywhere. Scratches on the floor. The furnitures were very outdated and there was even a broken lamp (although looking nice and modern on the pictures of the website). Everything is very very cheap!!! Totally not worh the huge price they ask!!! Moving to the famous Restaurant. No ambiance whatsoever! Extremely cheap interior with absolutely NO TASTE!!! This would be a Restaurant of some mediocre 2 star hotel but not of a hotel that they try to present. We didn’t even bother to make reservation for the dinner because again the price was out of comparison to the quality. PEOPLE DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! THIS IS A CHEAP PLACE WITHOUT ANY TASTE OR QUALITY!!!

We've stayed here on recommendation of a friend. We took the 4-course menu including wine-pairing. All the dished were made with the greatest care and balanced flavours. The host really knows where she is talking about, and it is a big plus that they serve...wines from their own vineyard. Fantastic evening on the terrace, we brought a box of wine home!

As an addition of being a 2 stars Michelin restaurant is also a winery , wine house ,wine bar and hotel in the heart of the Mosel's wine region located in the oldest city of Germany , so if your pocket can afford it you...should not miss this place
