The menu offers a tasty Impossible Burger, as well as vegan appetizers and Asian-style entrees that can be made with tofu. The vegan chocolate mousse was also delicious.
I dined at this restaurant once last year and once this year during my annual ski trip. The vegan menu must be requested separately, but there are multiple options to choose from. This time, I enjoyed the island rice bowl and a fantastic chocolate mousse dessert made with dark chocolate mousse, avocado, and pistachio cookies, accompanied by raspberries, pistachios, and coconut fluff. Last year, I had the mezze appetizer with avocado and bean hummus, olives, and delicious dipping crackers (though there weren't enough crackers for the amount of hummus). The service on both occasions was attentive and on par with fine dining. They also offer live music during apres ski hours. While the prices were high, it's to be expected in Vail.
Ask for the vegan menu. This is not a bad option considering how remote and expensive this place is. The food was pretty decent. We got a Japanese rice bowl, arugula salad, and artisan bread with olive oil and vinegar. They were all pretty good but all that came to over $50, which considering the ingredients and complexity of the dishes seem a bit steep. Our waiter was very inattentive and it was impossible to get his attention. The rest of the staff was quiet good.
Food service was great! at our last day they added a benedict to the breakfast menu. that was my favorite. natalie was the best. she made our trip unforgettable. I hope to be back soon.
