Pepe's Grill - Vera

For now, as they have only just moved in, the Patxi family are only serving tapas and light meals. Patxi is from the north, so some of these have a Basque flavour. Well worth trying. They have no set menu as it changes regularly. It might be on the board behind the bar. The little square outside is a delightful place to have a drink under the orange trees which smell wonderful at this time of year.

This is a very nice bar restaurant... the seating outside is in the old hospital square, quiet and surrounded by orange trees, the menu is very nice, I wish I had taken a photo of it to out on here, if your in Vera , look for the main square, were the big church is and go up the lane to the left 100 m, attentive staff too.

Set in a lovely square wit outside eating available. We had an excellent menu del dia for €10. Three courses including wine. Friendly staff and speedy service. Well worth a visit.

Estamos buscando un lugar para un lugar tranquilo y ligero. . . . y lo encontramos: en vera, en una plaza encantadora, donde se encuentra la biblioteca municipal y acompaña el sonido de las campanas. . . . y encontramos la capucha del rabino de toros !!! pero sobre todo, el bacalao con salsa de puerros y almejas insuperables! la salsa perfecta, las almejas, pero el bacalao de la verdad, superior. Fue una sorpresa de lo más agradable. . . y postre el pastel de limón, también hecho en casa. un lugar muy recomendado.
