I wanted to like this place, located in a historic house near the inner harbor and Fisherman's Warf. It's decorated with a clean, minimalist, modern aesthetic.... But the food was bland and unsatisfying. If you go with modest expectations, you may be more impressed than I was.

First, the building itself is quite wonderful - set in an old mansion. The staff was helpful and prompt, and the food delicious. I highly recommend a meal here.... We went for brunch today and loved it. We shared the oatmeal pancakes with bacon. The pancakes were closer to a very moist bread/cake served with sautéed pears... We also ordered a slice of seed toast that had to be made as it was ordered. The toast was make of compressed seeds and it was good! I drink decaf coffee and it was the strongest I have ever been served. definitely not the same old same old. They also had scrambled eggs etc. for those who are more reserved in their eating. All looked very tasty.

This restaurant was close to our hotel so we tried it on for both dinner and breakfast. Neither meal disappointed. The menu is well put together and the service...
