Restaurang Solbacken Visingsö

I love this place. Soooo nice staff and great location. Sadly I expected more from the kitchen. I had a burger and if prefer more salt/pepper in a burger. Also only ketchup for the fried potato is not good enough....for me. Anyone else could love it!? But me, I would like to have some sauce...like homemade bearnaise sauce or similar.

This place is beautifully situated above the little harbour in Visingsö. It has self service which is quite convenient. I think you can get waiting by the table if you are a party. They serve local food but I had pizza as my dog, who was welcome at the terrace, preferred a bit of chicken pizza. A welcoming place with good food.

This place works great for familys. A good children menu and a small play area. Yet for the couples, they can relax on the other side of the house so I guess this should work for most of the visitors. They have a lot or eco friendly dishes. As well as vegetarian options. But of course tasty burgers and fish. Well I only did the fish but the burgers looked lovley. Male sure to try the half local brew, a wipa with local wheat but brewed at Eskilstuna brewery. We enjoyed the place and if we visit the island again, then this is the place we will visit.

Had dinner one evening while on the island. Menu choice was good with a selection of dishes. Reasonably priced. Service attentive and quick. Food tasty. Beer good. Worth a visit.

We were here and enjoyed the food, service and the outdoor seating to the fullest. Plenty of place to sit and relax and the service is top notch.
