On my way to Dallas passing through Waco and I wanted something different.I pulled up and no one was there except me and i was scared that the food was not going to be great. My first time there and the cashier server was very friendly and nice. I never had oxtails so I ordered oxtail with rice and peas and it was so delicious for 17.99! I wanted more! My food was served to me within 5-10 minutes and the cashier server checked on me a couple times to make sure I was enjoying my food and he was so pleasant. I will most definitely come back and I hope that my next experience eating at a jamaican restaurant is just as great!
So good! My husband had the J Chicken and I tried the Curried vegetables and both were delicious. And the fried plantains were amazing! Very friendly service and laid back atmosphere. Will definitely be back next time we pass through Waco!
This was quite the find. Our party (including children) tried the patties, j chicken, curry goat, Rasta pasta, and the rum and raisin bread pudding. It all tasted like really good home-cooked food, with fast service and excellent, attentive customer service. Would recommend and hope to return on a future visit to Waco!Dietary restrictions: Tons of gluten free options
Order takeout from Tru Jamaica and it was AMAZING. I got a bit of everything beef patties, Rasta pasta, veggies, curried chicken and j chicken. Everything was delicious. The chicken fell right off the bone. The flavor was AMAZING. When I return to Waco, I will for sure be coming back.
