Discovering a restaurant with a skilled chef who serves authentic New Orleans cuisine is always a pleasant surprise. There is no need for any reinterpretation - just simply delicious and soul-satisfying food.

Tchoup has great eating on is a funny scene. there sat during a weekday and the three of us ordered a starter and three fantastic sandwiches and were quite satisfied and left overs!

We decided to leave the restaurant because it was advertised as serving New Orleans Po-boys. The menu looked appealing and the bread was fantastic, but overall it didn't quite capture the authentic flavors of New Orleans. It was a bit amusing, but ultimately disappointing.

We went to tchoups to see the new place in petworth. what a sound! relaxed, great service and really good eating. Fun mix of people and, although it was too hot to sit outside, the garden seats looked great. will soon be back to enjoy this! tchoups is a must try if she likes to put back, friendly and well cook new orleans.

Alex McCoy really outdid himself this time. Having lived in New Orleans for a few years, I must admit that the food there is what I miss the most, so I may be a bit biased. However, everything we tried at this restaurant was excellent. Four of us dined together and each ordered a different sandwich. We chose the catfish po'boy, the oyster po'boy, and the half smoke. For the fourth sandwich, we let our waitress make the choice for us. She recommended the roast beef without hesitation. Although we were a bit surprised by her suggestion, as it seemed like the most basic option on the menu, we decided to trust her judgement. And we were not disappointed. All the sandwiches were delicious, but the waitress's choice was arguably the standout favorite.
