Well, perhaps it 's a regional and preference thing since I lived here for a few years as a kid. Chinese food in Maine has no business existing (just think about their irony for a minute... but generally does alright. After all, have you ever heard of anyone going to Texas for the Chinese food? Precisely! This place is okay. 4 stars because they 're in a small off-highway town and maintain a group of regulars. Pricing is fair, portions are good, and the wait staff is less classical Chinese food and more local labour pool. Not a bad thing at all, just don 't expect them to be fluent in Mandarin... My go to is the General Tso which is NEVER hot and spicy liked advertised with the pictures of peppers but at this point I really don 't care. It 's Google 's version of Chinese food do my standard are pretty low. Otherwise, it 's much better than any place I tried in Texas not even close to the glory of teriyaki stir fry in Seattle. It 's Maine, go get a lobster roll if mediocre/half-decent Chinese takeout would ruin your evening.
We order take out sometimes cause it's closer than our favorite Chinese restaurant . The food is really good and portions generous. Staff is friendly but the inside is seriously lacking atmosphere, that's why we stick to take out, but overall we are always happy with our food!
Used to have good food.. not anymore.. I couldn't even eat it, boneless ribs we're my favorite But it's gross.. flavorless rice, even the teriyaki beef has no flavor.. chicken fingers are doughy and not good.. I can't believe they could screw up chicken fingers.. don't waste your money
